Privacy Policy

My Tic Journey (the “Site”) is a personal project by Peter Amundson. This page explains what information is collected when you visit the Site or download the Finding My Calm guide. The guide is free and needs no account or email address.

Information we collect

Optional tips. The guide is free. If you choose to leave an optional tip, checkout is handled by Stripe. Your card details go directly to Stripe — we never see or store them. We receive only the tip amount, a transaction reference, and the email you enter at checkout.

Contact form. If you message us, we receive your name, email, and message to reply to you. We keep a copy of your message for our records.

Bot protection. Cloudflare Turnstile checks that you’re human on forms where it is used. It may set a cookie and collect minimal browser data under Cloudflare’s privacy policy.

Analytics. We use Google Ads measurement and site analytics to understand traffic. No personalized advertising signals are used. We never send health details or anything you write in the trackers — only page views, a download-button click, and, for a tip, the amount and currency.

Accounts

There are no accounts. Downloading the guide or sending a message does not create a login or password.

Cookies

The Site uses essential cookies (for bot protection) and analytics cookies. You can disable cookies in your browser; the Site still works.

Third parties

Stripe (optional tips), Cloudflare (bot protection), and Google (analytics) each process data under their own privacy policies.

Children

The guide is intended for adults. The Site is not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their information.

Your choices

You can contact us via the Contact page to request a copy or deletion of any message you have sent. Tip records are held by Stripe under its policies.

Not medical advice

The Site and the guide share personal experience only. They are not medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.

Changes

We may update this page. The “last updated” date above reflects the most recent change.

A note from the author

“I am a fellow traveler, not a doctor. This guide is my personal map of how I learned to live well with Tourette syndrome — built from 51 years of living it, not from a medical degree.”
